He believes that everything we do is motivaed by our physical needs. He called those needs "life instincts" and those certain instincts he called libido, from the Latin word "I desire."
So too him, "Sex" is the essential motive of every activity. aaah I love Freudian psychology! even though some of his theories made me fume with anger!
